Below is a message from the Foundation sent March 2020 and a list of helpful resources at the time.

Despite this turmoil, we want you to know that The Presser Foundation is in a strong position to serve you through and beyond this difficult period.  We understand that most programming has been cancelled and rescheduling is uncertain. It is impossible to predict how this healthcare and economic crisis will unfold. In this way we have compiled a list of information and resources available for arts and culture nonprofits.  We wish you the best of health and safety.

Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance COVID-19 Resources The Cultural Alliance provided its members and the arts and culture community with updates, news and resources regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.

Philadelphia Cultural Fund announces 2020 Art & Culture Grants The Philadelphia Cultural Fund announced the recipients of its 2020 Art & Culture Grants. The grants total $2,928,500 and will provide 349 organizations with operating funds.

Philadelphia Artists and Arts Organizations Impact Survey The purpose of this survey is to gather data about the financial impact that COVID-19 has had on arts and cultural organizations and individual artists since March 10, 2020 when the public health restrictions began and the potential long-term impacts.

COVID-19 ARTS AID PHL, a fund for individual artists and small arts and culture organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region, which provides up to $500 for individuals and $1000 for small organizations opened April 13, 2020.

Application Opened April 13, 2020: Jazz Road Quick Assist Fund, which provides $1000 grants to help freelance musicians who have lost income due to the coronavirus.

WXPN launched WXPN Music Community Relief Fund, which received its first donation of $25,000. This initial gift of $25,000 will be used in partnership with Philly Music Fest to directly benefit 100 local artists and music industry workers, who have lost income due to the COVID-19 health and economic crisis, by providing individuals with $250 micro-grants to meet their immediate financial needs.

Jazz Philadelphia celebrates V-JAM Philly with new Hometown Hero Jazz Profiles and a highlight on V-JAM Session Leader Settlement Music School, which is offering free online music education to all on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
