Here is information on resources related to COVID-19 from the Greater Philadelphia funding and cultural community. There are art specific resources in addition to regional response funds.

  • Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance COVID-19 Resources The Cultural Alliance is working to provide its members and the arts and culture community with updates, news and resources regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.
  • Philadelphia Cultural Fund announces 2020 Art & Culture Grants The Philadelphia Cultural Fund has announced the recipients of its 2020 Art & Culture Grants. The grants total $2,928,500 and will provide 349 organizations with operating funds.
  • Via the Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE):
    • Opportunities and Resources: Information for artists and arts organizations to help them through the COVID-19 health crisis. *THIS IS A COMPREHENSIVE LIST
    • Philadelphia Artists and Arts Organizations Impact Survey The purpose of this survey is to gather data about the financial impact that COVID-19 has had on arts and cultural organizations and individual artists since March 10th when the public health restrictions began and the potential impacts should these public health restrictions continue through April 2020.
  • COVID-19 ARTS AID PHL, a fund for individual artists and small arts and culture organizations in the greater Philadelphia region, which provides up to $500 for individuals and $1000 for small organizations opened April 13, at 1 p.m. As you can imagine, the demand is high for assistance, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
  • Application Opened April 13: Jazz Road Quick Assist Fund, which provides $1000 grants to help freelance musicians who have lost income due to the coronavirus. These funds are on a first-come-first-served basis so apply today if you are an artist in need.
  • WXPN has launched WXPN Music Community Relief Fund, which received its first donation of $25,000. This initial gift of $25,000 will be used in partnership with Philly Music Fest to directly benefit 100 local artists and music industry workers, who have lost income due to the COVID-19 health and economic crisis, by providing individuals with $250 micro-grants to meet their immediate financial needs.
  • Jazz Philadelphia celebrates V-JAM Philly with new Hometown Hero Jazz Profiles(be sure to follow links to make your own nominations!) and a highlight on V-JAM Session LeaderSettlement Music School, which is offering free online music education to all on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
