Next Movement – Centering Youth Voice into Music Educating Organizations
As part of our Next Movement Series, The Presser Foundation is hosting a conversation focused on Centering Youth Voice into Music Educating Organizations.*
The event will take place on Tuesday, April 25th from 12-1pm ET on Zoom. The Foundation is eager to welcome leaders at four music educating organizations to share information about their youth-focused work. Speakers will include:
Jessica Craft, Rock to the Future
In this session, you will learn more about their work to center youth and student voice in their organizations including program development and operations. A significant portion of the session has been designed for questions and answers with the speakers. In preparation for the discussion, the Foundation will be sending a guide about each organization’s youth-centering efforts. Please come with your questions!
Feel free to invite other members of your staff and/or board to attend. This session is specifically designed for music educating organizations, but any music organization is welcome to join.
*Grant funding from The Presser Foundation is not contingent on attending this session. The Foundation simply seeks to provide a platform to amplify expert voices on specific topics.
