Next Movement – Equity Arc
Join Equity Arc and The Presser Foundation on Tuesday, April 29th from 12:00-1:15pm ET on Zoom as we explore how Equity Arc creates a level playing field for all musicians by providing equitable access and investment in training and mentorship to underrepresented classical instrumentalists.
Equity Arc will examine the systemic barriers to participation in classical music and discuss their multi-dimensional approach to creating positive outcomes for musicians of color through mentorship programs and institutional partnerships.
We value your input, so there will be ample time for a Q&A session after the presentation, where you can share your thoughts and ask questions. There will also be time to talk in smaller groups to discuss current concerns and actionable solutions toward increasing equity in music.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please reach out to Abby Rolland at arolland@presserfoundation.org.
Feel free to invite other members of your staff and/or board to attend.
*Grant funding from The Presser Foundation is not contingent on attending this session. The Foundation simply seeks to provide a platform to amplify expert voices on specific topics.
